dc.description This case continues the development of Tarzan as a comic book character as he transitions from newspapers to actual comics with artist Jesse Marsh and writer Gaylord Dubois. The artistic rendering of Tarzan reaches a whole new level, however, when artist Russ Manning takes over the comic book, followed the Sunday news strip and finally the dailies. Also explored in this case is the artistic styles of each artist. en
