Every Day is a Gift: a collection of original songs

"Every Day is a Gift" is a collection of ten songs written or co-written by the author, an independent music artist, pop singer-songwriter and ovarian cancer survivor who is on a mission to spread love, joy, healing and peace through the power of words and music, and to inspire others to follow their dreams and live artistically. The purpose of this project is to share the author's story of survival and reinvention and to inspire and encourage others to live life fully, and to share their unique gifts and talents. This project report documents the process of creating the CD, from creative inception through completion, and includes a discussion of genre, vocal technique, vocal pedagogy and health, and well as an in-depth description of the writing, arranging, performing, and recording process of five of the songs.
