The Art of Typography Exhibit was up through June 26th – September 5th. 2014 on the first floor of Library North. The idea for the exhibit revolves around the Perry R. Long Collection of Books on Printing & Graphic Design in Special Collections & Archives. The collection is one of the largest collections of typography on the West Coast. It includes works on the art and science of typography, paper making and color printing, graphic design, book binding, printer’s manuals, and histories, as well as ephemera, keepsakes, announcements, broadsides, and examples of fine printing. The exhibit was developed and installed by Special Collections & Archives staff and student assistants.
